The way the world will end

"There is blood on his sheets. There is his blood on his sheets, turning into roses. This is how the world will end. The entire world will still suggest a man’s presence though he is lying cold.

The man will watch his friend die from the inside out as he hangs himself with riddles. The moon will wait outside the window, as a man mourns his loss. The world will keep spinning and then one day it won’t.

This is the way the world will end. With a cry, like the sound of a bullet leaving the gun."
